Eating certain foods when you have already conceived will not change the gender of your baby. Once its' there that's it. But, changing your eating habits before conception certainly will. To have a boy you will need to eat food high in potassium and vitamins C and D so, lots of yummy bananas, watermelon and carrots, no shellfish though. Salty foods also help. Steer well clear of dairy, nuts, red meats and chocolate.
Okay, so you have eaten the right foods, now you need to make sure you can get those male sperm to their destination. Certain sexual positions can help you here, ones that enable deep penetration by the male. One that springs to mind is 'Doggy Style', where the male enters the female from behind while she is on all fours. It is a known fact that male sperm swim faster than female sperm but they die quicker. Getting them closer to their goal in the first place will really give them a head start over the girls. The atmosphere inside the vagina can help to. Boy sperm do well in alkaline environments, alkaline fluid is released when a woman orgasms so, if you can orgasm before your partner this should help too, it would also make a nice change for most of us I'm sure!! (I'm joking guys! -sort of). For the same reasons if the woman lies back and relaxes after sex, preferably legs in the air that will help the sperms get closer to the cervix.
Hey - back up, back up! I've just remembered. While the sperm are still in the man they need to be kept nice and cool and have loads of room to move. Loose fitting clothes help this. Tackle tight trousers my look hot on a night out but when it comes to conceiving there are no good and will inhibit the little sperm. So, keep it chilled and loose guys if you want to get a baby boy.
